Kuwait SC completed the 2025/26 Kuwait Premier League season without a defeat, securing their 21st league title and fifth in succession. The club finished first on 53 points after 23 matches, with 15 wins and eight draws.
The championship was settled before the final round. Kuwait SC closed the campaign with a 0–0 draw against Al-Qadsia and received the trophy at Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium, ending a season in which no league opponent managed to beat them.
Kuwait SC built enough of a lead to clinch the championship by round 20. That gave the club certainty before its remaining fixtures, although the unbeaten record was still at stake.
A 3–2 win over Al-Arabi later in the championship stage showed that the leaders could respond in a close match as well as control the wider title race. Their draw with Al-Qadsia in the last round then completed the league campaign without a loss.
Al-Arabi finished second, followed by Kazma and Al-Qadsia in the football association’s standings. Al-Arabi also beat Kuwait SC 3–0 in the Crown Prince Cup final, a reminder that the champions’ league dominance did not extend to every domestic match.
For those clubs, the challenge next season is to reproduce results over the length of the league campaign. Kuwait SC’s advantage came from collecting points consistently, including on days when a win was out of reach.
The league title was not Kuwait SC’s only major success. In May, the club won the AFC Challenge League final 4–3 after extra time against Cambodia’s Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng, recovering from 2–0 and then 3–2 down.
That result added a fourth continental title to the club’s record. Together with an unbeaten league campaign, it made 2025/26 a season defined by both sustained domestic form and a dramatic victory on the Asian stage.
